Occupational Health & Safety
Britto’s management and employees take safety very seriously.
We have implemented a Safety Management System called Stems.
Stems covers all areas of safety management and interacts with HR functions like health (medicals), licensing, certificates of competency and a range of other support functions.
With Stems in place, management and employees are able to access the information from the field via a mobile phone app.
Cathy Brittain has 10 years’ experience working with at risk youth engaged in school-based traineeships and apprenticeships in WA. This program allowed Year 11 and 12 students to complete their Western Australian Certificate of Education.
The success rate of completion of Cathy’s students was 98% and her role consisted of classroom and workplace assessment. Course development and delivery of the units of competency was to indigenous and mainstream students in the ‘at risk’ cohort.
Cathy studied a Bachelor of Psychology and Youth Work while undertaking the above role to ensure her skills addressed key issues in the above sector.
